Cheyanne's SLCC ePortfolio

I made this dress in conclusion to the beginning sewing class I took this 2016 fall semester at the SLCC Fashion Institute. Throughout the course we learned the fundamentals of being top notch seamstresses. My favorite skill to learn was hand sewing a variety of hem styles. They look so clean and perfect. I am also glad to have learned how to read and understand patterns. I am excited to try new patterns and make clothes that I love. Thank you June Owen for being a wonderful and expert sewing professor and for encouraging us to do our best to create high quality clothing.

P.S. My fabric choice is fantastic and even though my grandma said it looks like I'm wearing a table cloth, I am absolutely in love with it. Pine cones forever!!!!
